I participated in research at MIT in the Mediated Matter Group in the MIT Media Lab working with Steven Keating and Professor Neri Oxman. My part of this research project consists of aiding in the construction of a large scale digital fabrication platform based on a boom arm truck and a six axis KUKA robotic arm. I am the head designer of the controls system, and have also worked with system level sensor implementation. I am also developing various electromechanical assemblies in order to make the whole system function. Our ultimate goal is to be able to use this platform to fabricate large scale structures using additive manufacturing. Below are some picture of the platform performing a light painting.
